About Colleen Snell:
As the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Frog in Hand, Colleen works with a broad range of dance and arts organizations in a variety of roles including educator, choreographer, collaborator, outside eye, fight director and performer. Colleen devises and performs collaborative, site-specific work with musicians, spoken word poets, actors, fight directors, visual artists and martial artists. She holds an MA in dance from the London Contemporary Dance School, she is an advanced actor-combatant (FDC) and she’s an avid arts educator. Colleen’s collaborative choreographic process is highly regarded, as is her work in improvisation and site-specific production. Recently Colleen has created radio plays, dance films, site-specific productions, and an award-winning narrative website (The Lost Museum). Currently with Frog in Hand, she’s incubating a new arts space that will take the form of a geodesic dome, and she’s developing a narrative app.
